Das Gesamtziel des Vorhabens ist es, im Verbund mit den Partnern Antennen für die mobile Satellitenkommunikation im Ka-Band applikationsspezifisch und kostengünstig zu entwickeln sowie innovative technologische Ansätze zu erkunden. Das TUHH-Teilprojekt ist solchen neuartigen Konzepten gewidmet. Dabei werden verschiedene Teilziele verfolgt. Sie haben zum Inhalt, die Funktionalität bekannter Ansätze zu erhöhen und alternative Antennenarchitekturen vergleichbarer Performanz aber geringerer technologischer Komplexität zu entwickeln. Die Verifikation soll anhand von Technologiedemonstratoren erfolgen.
