The project overall objective is to secure water supply and wastewater treatment in the targeted countries Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.

The activities are the following:

  • Analysis and estimation of the local situation
  • Practical work to determine wastewater quantities and qualities
  • Development of policy guidelines for wastewater treatment and reuse
  • Human resources development and capacity building
  • Design and construction of demonstration pilot plants
  • Workshops and conferences for providing public awareness
