EMWATER (Efficient Management of Wastewater, its Treatment and Reuse in the Mediterrean Countries)
The project overall objective is to secure water supply and wastewater treatment in the targeted countries Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine. The activities are the following: - Analysis and estimation of the local situation
- Practical work to determine wastewater quantities and qualities
- Development of policy guidelines for wastewater treatment and reuse
- Human resources development and capacity building
- Design and construction of demonstration pilot plants
- Workshops and conferences for providing public awareness
